Corporate Headshots for Wells Fargo
The good folks at Wells Fargo needed some updated headshots and group portraits for their website. I took some shots using their office as the environment. We used a window for the background of the headshots, giving a nice blurred appearance without it being too bright. For the group shots, we used their conference room. The room was very simple, and we scaled it back even more to just one chair, the conference table, and one piece of art.
They are very pleased with the results and so am I. My new Nikon 85mm lens works just beautifully and is my new go-to headshot lens. I recently converted to an all-mirrorless Nikon DSLR system and it has significantly improved the dynamic range of my photos. When paired with the 85mm, it is just a delight to work with.
In addition to technical skills, a successful headshot photographer must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am able to connect with my subjects and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. This helps to bring out their natural expressions and create authentic and engaging headshots. The goal is to create a visually appealing and professional image that accurately represents the individual and their brand.
