Chicago Headshots: You’ve Got Options
Your brand is your choice. I can do a solid backdrop or I can incorporate your environment out of focus into the headshot.
Option 1: Solid Backdrop
I can capture headshots according to your company’s specifications, or we can create something new together. Regardless, your photos will be clean and standardized in order to give you a polished brand. I can come in for new hires and replicate the same lighting and background to be sure your photography is consistent.
Option 2: Your Office as the Backdrop
Looking for something more unique and upscale? Show your location out of focus as your backdrop. Showcase your gorgeous office or that Chicago skyline view from your window. Unlike other photographers, I do not do green screen backdrops in order to ensure that no one else has photos like yours.

By delivering a full PDF detailing my pricing options, a list of preparation tips, and offering a scheduler if needed to schedule your team on headshot day, I have everything covered. I do not require a freight elevator at your office, as my studio is totally portable and collapsible.
I am as unobtrusive in your office as possible on headshot day to ensure that you and your busy employees are minimally impacted. I coach each individual through their headshot to get beautiful photos of everyone with minimal effort on their part. You are not alone! After working with hundreds of people, I learned that this is the most common experience. This is where I really stand out. My previous career in social work combined with my comedy background comes together in my client-centered directing style. Rest assured that I will gently direct you throughout our photo shoot to help you achieve the most flattering poses that work for you. I never rush through a shoot and we review our images throughout the session to make sure you are happy with how things are going.
I’m camera shy. Can you help?
Occasionally! Whenever the weather is nice, we can make it work. I have some of my favorite spots to capture skyline photos in the small window that Chicago’s weather will cooperate for. Because our weather is so unpredictable (and even a stiff breeze can ruin your hair during a shoot), we may need to make a Plan B when scheduling outdoor shoots.
Do you take headshots outdoors?
I combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. Having worked with busy marketing directors, I respond to all calls and emails within the hour. I make sure clients are prepared with preparation tips. I don’t stop shooting until the client is happy with their photos. I collaborate with my clients by reviewing all images while we are shooting. I make things as easy as possible for my busy clients, so they can continue with their regular work day with minimal disruption.
What makes you different?
While I don’t go into sessions with a set number of images in mind, on average I take around 20-30 images during a corporate headshot session.
How many photos do you take?
Not as much as you might think! I typically use a conference room, but I can use a hallway or spare office too. Obviously, the more space the better but I can make your space work!
